Saturday - 1:30PM-3:45PM
Not only does confessing and repenting free us of our sin, it also offers the same forgiveness those who have sinned against us. After baptism, any sin can be forgiven- big or small, as long as there is penance. Most people feel like a weight has been lifted off their chest, but this isn't therapy, this is FAR beyond that; this is confessing your sin, promising to God that you will not do it again, and actively providing penance through prayer, service, etc. Then after, you are absolved of that sin. Reconciliation is truly proof of God's neverending mercy upon us.
Requirements (for First Reconciliation)
-Child must have completed 1st grade religion classes at Redemptorist St. Gerard
